Jose Hernandez was the brother of Sergio Hernandez and assisstant to the Hernandez drug cartel on Day 3.
Day 3[]
Jose was informed by Rick Jackson of the bidding with Mitchell Stewart of the Cordilla Virus before Day 3. Jose persisted that they will work together only if Rick broke Sergio out of prison. Rick set up the decoy break in to gain the Hernandez brother's trust. They went to the auction and found out of another buyer, Abdul Amad. Abdul then won the virus, and Jose wanted to back out, but Sergio didn't. Instead, Sergio shot Jose and went to steal the virus from Abdul. The virus was a decoy, however, and exploded, killing Sergio. Jose died soon after.
